How it works

Your customers have until 9am to order.
It ships today.

Every other carrier in the GTA has a cutoff that punishes your evening and overnight orders. Anything placed after noon sits until tomorrow's cycle — your customer waits two days for something that could have shipped today. Brunel is built around a simple idea: every order from the last 24 hours ships the same morning we pick up.

Anytime
Your customer places an order
Late at night. Early morning. On their commute. As long as it's before 9am on the day of pickup, it ships today. No cut-off surprises, no "this order will ship tomorrow" emails.
Up to 9am
Your team packs. We're already on our way.
Brunel drivers pick up from your location every morning between 7am and 10am. You set your cutoff in the merchant portal — up to 9am — and we collect everything packed and ready. No trip to a depot. No depot queues. We come to you.

How it works

Built around how DTC brands actually ship.

Traditional carriers are engineered for B2B bulk — one depot drop, one sort cycle, one pickup window per day. Miss it and your customer waits. Brunel is built differently: we collect from you every morning and deliver the same day.

01
Morning pickup from your location
Brunel drivers come to you between 7am and 10am, every day. You set your cutoff in the merchant portal — up to 9am. Everything packed and ready gets collected. No depot runs, no cutoff panic at 5pm.
Pickup at your door · daily
02
Every order from the last 24 hours ships today
Your eligible shipments include every order placed up to your 9am cutoff — overnight, early morning, all of it. No order gets left behind in a batch cycle. Same morning pickup, same day delivery.
24-hour order window · ships same day
03
99%+ first-attempt delivery
GPS-stamped photo proof on every stop. Owner-operator drivers with a financial stake in completing — not abandoning — difficult deliveries. No fake "attempted" scans. Exceptions visible in your dashboard before your customer notices.
vs. ~75–80% industry average
04
Your brand stays front and centre — through delivery.
Every merchant gets their own branded tracking page — your logo, your domain, your colours. National carriers give customers a generic tracking number and nothing else. With Brunel, your customer's last touchpoint before the door is still you.

Who we're built for

Built for brands where delivery is the product.

Brunel is built for GTA-focused DTC brands shipping 10–300 orders a day. If your customers compare your delivery experience to Amazon's — and you're tired of losing that comparison — you're in the right place.

/ 01
DTC brands shipping 10–300 orders/day in the GTA
You're shipping real volume but you're not a national enterprise. Canada Post works until it doesn't — and when customers start complaining about delivery, it costs you more than the label. You need a carrier built for brands like yours.
Growing DTC brands
Strong GTA customer base
Brand-led, not price-led
/ 02
Consumables & repeat-purchase categories
Coffee, skincare, pet food, supplements, meal kits. Your customers reorder every week and they're comparing your delivery to Amazon's every time. Retention depends on getting the package there fast, intact, and without friction.
Subscription or high-repeat
GTA-concentrated customer base
Consistent daily shipment volume
/ 03
Apparel, home goods & considered purchases
The unboxing is part of the brand. A damaged box, a missed delivery window, a package left in the rain — those are your problems, not the carrier's. You want a partner who understands that the delivery is the last impression.

Questions merchants ask
FAQ

Answers to the obvious questions.

How does pickup actually work? +
Brunel drivers come to your location every morning between 7am and 10am. In your merchant portal, you set a cutoff — up to 9am — which is the latest an order can be placed and still make that day's pickup run. Everything packed and ready by your cutoff gets collected. Shipments are then sorted by delivery zone directly in the portal, and handed off to the driver assigned to that zone. No drop-off, no depot trip, no scrambling to meet someone else's schedule. Every order received in the last 24 hours — overnight, early morning, all of it — ships the same day we pick up.
How does onboarding actually work? +
A 20-minute conversation first — we look at your daily volume, your GTA customer concentration, and your current carrier setup. If there's fit, we send a written service agreement and connect your store via our integration. You set your order cutoff in the merchant portal. Most merchants are live within a week — and shipping their first same-day Brunel run shortly after.
Are there minimum volume requirements? +
Brunel is built for GTA-focused brands shipping between 10 and 300 orders per day. If you're shipping fewer than 10 a day consistently, we're likely not the right fit yet. If you're above 300, let's talk — we can work through what that looks like.
What does pricing look like? +
One all-in rate per shipment. No fuel surcharge. No residential surcharge. No peak-season fees. Pricing is agreed in writing and doesn't change mid-contract. Get in touch and we'll share specifics based on your volume and parcel profile.
What happens when a delivery fails? +
Our drivers are owner-operators with a financial incentive to complete the delivery — not abandon it. That's why our first-attempt rate targets 99%+ vs. the ~75–80% industry average. If a delivery genuinely can't complete, you see it flagged in your dashboard in real time — before your customer emails support.
Do you handle returns? +
Yes. Returns workflows vary by brand — volume, packaging, condition policies all matter. We'd rather build something that fits your business than publish a generic process. Tell us how returns work for you and we'll design around it.
What if I ship outside the GTA? +
Use Brunel for your GTA volume — likely the most valuable segment of your Canadian customer base — and continue with your current carrier for everything else. Most merchants run a hybrid model. Expansion coverage is planned for 2027.
How is this different from Canada Post, Purolator, or GLS? +
Those carriers require you to bring parcels to them, on a schedule that was designed for B2B bulk — not DTC merchants. Miss the depot cutoff and your customer's order slips to the next day. Brunel comes to you, every morning, and collects every order placed in the last 24 hours. Same-day delivery for your customer, without you changing how you pack or where you ship from.
Is my customer data safe? +
Your customer data is yours. We use it to deliver your packages. We don't run a marketplace, we don't sell to your customers, and we don't mine your order data to build competing products. That's the entire point of not being Amazon.
